In order for prayers to be answered, there must be no impediments of a higher order. And may the achievement of this request be good for you, without causing harm to others.

The Earth is rich in resources and there is nothing wrong with asking for more money because you are not taking anything away from anyone. A good rule of thumb is always to share our abundance with those in need. The more you give to others, the more you will enter the flow of abundance.
You can ask for any kind of good for the members of your family, your friends or acquaintances. You can also make requests of a spiritual nature. These will be met with particular attention. Specifically, you can ask the angels to help you on your spiritual path.
But no one can do something for you. In the face of spiritual demands, the angelic contribution comes in the form of support and strength needed to bring about the changes beneficial to your spiritual growth.
We are part of the Creator, but we are not always aware of it. On our earthly journey, the angels help us find this lost consciousness. We are children of God and as such, God is in us. Do not be afraid and ask for his help through the angels.
